BEFORE you leave for going out of town, START THE DOWNLOAD.....lol  It takes forever.  There's multiple downloads, but the first one is the biggest.  If you let it run while you're gone, you'll only have to wait a couple of hours to play (for the final downloads to get done, because the process can stop at the different downloads).

Once you get the game loaded up, go ahead and play the tutorial.  Yes, I know it's gay.  The game is better, but the tutorial gives you the basic concepts of the game.

MW2 was fun for a while.  That's until everyone and their brother started using hacks (some obvious, some not).  That kinda ruins the gameplay.  You never know if you're going against honest players or not.  It doesn't help that the MW2 folks haven't even put a dent in the hacking.  Hell I'd be thrilled if they used Punkbuster or something.  With all the hacking going on, it makes the game more frustrating than fun.

We started playing Fallen Earth about a month ago.  We still have our TS server, so we meet there to play.  There's only around 4 of us left....lol  Sad, I know.  But Fallen Earth is fun, you don't get frustrated by hackers, and there's a real sense of community with higher level players helping new players.

We will be starting a Fallen Earth clan sometime soon.  You can expect to see the membership swell back up then.  If it takes bribes in Fallen Earth to get our clan back to full strength, I'm not above a few key payouts.....lol  Maybe I should run for Congress.....lol  We will probably do some First Person Shooters too, but not until they fix the huge hacking problems in the MW line.

You can do a free 10 day Fallen Earth trial.  Don't get turned off by the tutorial, the game is a lot better.  The only downside to the free 10 day trial is I can't give you free shit, you've gotta sign up before I can start the bribes flowing....lol  I'm on just about every night.  My in game name is Airborne Plague.  Klem is Klem.  Solo is Solo Maximus.  Dogtag is Dogtag.  I forget what RV is, he'll be singing up sometime soon hopefully.

I'm removing the Google Merchant ratings link (Google compiles ratings from several different services).  I think Klem and Dogtag were right about the "high dollar value purchases" not going through because of the ratings issues.  Having a business with an A- BBB rating, tons of "good customer comments", and FOUR ratings just looks weird.  That's the only thing that has changed since business went downhill (the 28 ratings from Yahoo dissapeared because of the PriceGrabber & Yahoo Shopping merger).

Once Yahoo Shopping gets my other 28 x 4-5 star ratings back online I'll redo the Google Merchant ratings link.

We've been playing a lot of COD MW2 (and I think there's going to be a new map set coming out soon).  Tomorrow I'll be installing BF BC2.  I want to take a tank and completely demolish a house.

Klem, RV, Solo, and I have been playing the COD MW2 PC version quite a bit.  There is some BS because they don't have servers that you can "kick" someone who is obviously hacking.  But the gameplay is pretty damn good and there are plenty of weapons and perks to chose from.

RV and I are on COD MW2 most nights between 9pm and 11pm Eastern Time.

I'll be playing COD MW2 a lot this weekend.

It's pretty fun, I'd recommend buying it.

I've never seen an Iraq or Afghanistan Medal of Honor story on either FOX or CNN.

So in theory you "survive" something amazing in combat, but the press won't do a story until you "die" for some other reason......lol
